Customer records basics
Customer records store the people your location serves — contact details, history, and the information Amy and staff need to book correctly.
Find a customer
- Open Customers (or Patients / Clients, depending on your industry labeling).
- Search by name, phone, or email.
- Open the matching record to view the overview.
Create a customer
- Search first to avoid duplicates.
- Choose New / add customer.
- Enter legal or preferred name, phone, email, and any required fields for your location.
- Save, then book from the record or from Schedule.
Tip
Accurate phone numbers matter for confirmations, recall outreach, and Amy’s caller lookup.
What you can usually do from a record
- Update demographics and contact preferences
- Review upcoming and past appointments
- Open related charts, forms, or history modules when enabled for your industry package
Industry packaging
Some locations see clinical or intake modules; others see simpler CRM-style profiles.
AiSC can customize labels and fields for your industry on request.
Keep data clean
- Merge process: if you create a duplicate by mistake, contact support before deleting records that have history
- Prefer one primary mobile number per customer
- Respect messaging opt-out and consent preferences
